I didn't notice any remodeling / upgrading at the Regency when we were down Memorial Day weekend. It must be all inside and not visible from the road.

That puts a big strain on one elevator, and slows people down from checking out/in. I love the Regency, but those 3 things are such a pain.

Hopefully they took care of those problems at the Regency, but just didn't mention them in the acticle I posted.

One tip I can give you about the Calypso Towers:

Most people tend to park in the parking garage that is located across the street and use the catwalk to enter the Calypso. The catwalk takes you to the 3rd floor of the Calypso where there is a bank of elevators, these are busy.

If you use the elevators located on the first floor at the far east and west ends of the building, hardly ever had to wait.

Thank you for the tip. You can bet your butt that I will remember that one!
