Does anyone know if they are ever going to have the Pensacola lighthouse open for tours other than on Sundays? We drove over to it three years ago and I took pictures outside but it wasn't open for tours. Since people renting have to come in on a Saturday to Saturday basis, you have to go the very next day to go through it, which from PC Beach takes about an hour drive probably. And after just being on the road the day before for 8 to 9 hours, more for some people, I would think they are still tired from the drive down. I think it is ridiculous that you can only go in the lighthouse that one day. Why is it only open one day a week? Because on the following Saturday people are having to travel back home.
