I heard on the radio something about a party on Monday (October 3rd) at the Boatyard... Survivors Party or something?? Anyone know anything about it, and whether you HAVE to work in the hospitality industry in order to go or can you donate $$ or pay cover to get in?? I sell clothes to PCB stores... but I don't think that qualifies as hospitality.

I missed the Lobster Fest AND Thunder Beach (work, work, work).... I am not about to miss another event!

Any info would be great!

Boatyard will be open to the public as usual on Monday night. The Survivor's Party will be upstairs, starting at 6pm, but the fun spills over into the whole restaurant and bar, so come on out! You shouldn't miss another event! And, if you want to make a contribution, that would be great, too!

Survivor's Party is an annual event we throw for the Hospitality Industry employees. This year, considering the devastation of Katrina, it just seemed wrong not to invite our new 'temporary' residents from Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and everyone we talked to in the industry wanted to try to do something to raise money for Red Cross at the event... our hospitality professionals are a generous, hard-working and big-hearted group.
