A New Year for Club Hour and the Southeast!
A New Year for Club Hour and the Southeast!
Okay.... the hangovers have passed, the blurred vision cleared and the resolution list has already been disposed of. It’s mid-January and Club Hour is gearing up for another incredible year... but before we head into ’06, let’s take a look back at my favorite spots from ‘05. 1. Come along as I took over the beer route and "played" deliveryman for the day! - Beer Man for a Day 2. Every city has one... and in the Florida Panhandle it’s the Band Sheds... a place for aspiring musicians to come together and practice, to meet, to mingle, to learn. This playground for the musically fit is owned by Mr. Clark... a strict, straight-forward man who has won the hearts of these future rockers! 3. Ahhh… Key West...with the wild Tom Luna! No one is quite certain what may come from his knowledge bank and when I sat across the table from him one afternoon in Key West, I learned everything I never really wanted to know about the fascinating world of Bocce. 4. And no look at ‘05 would be complete without talking about the storm in New Orleans. Come along as Club Hour visits the Big Easy for the first time after Katrina! Everyone will have their own favorites, and remember you can always catch the entire ‘05 season in our video archives. In fact email us with your favorites and we may just recycle some of those as our viewer's choice showcase pieces throughout the ‘06 season. Until we toast glasses at the bar, enjoy the New Year and Cheers to all of our viewers and friends! Randy Peterson randy@tripsmarter.com |
