Wow, 12 views....
...and i think 2 of them were me...
Okay I get it, to compete with our other forums this time of year I have to talk about Spring Break...I mean I know a little about Spring Break, well just the boring stuff like best places to see sexy nakedness, best deals on drinks, best ways to make your money go further....I might even know the secret local handshake that gets you into the ultra exclusive room in two of the clubs(if you believe that, I also have a "beer on the beach" permit I will sell you... Post your questions...post your questions, post your questions...(thats the echo from my empty forum post... )Less than a month to the madness... |

I will be staying at the Chateau with a friend for the week of the 17th to the 24th. We both live in Connecticut. I went to Ft. Lauderdale last spring with another buddy and we both had a blast. We'll be flying in early and leaving late on those days, so we plan to use these days to their entirety.
This will be the first time to PCB for both of us, and from what I've been reading so far it looks like it may be the time of our lives. Is the Chateau a big college spot? Is it reasonable to assume we will probably have several people in our place at any one time drinking and having fun? A third friend now wants to come and I'm not sure how the guest policy works down there. Would it be possible to sneak him in, or is there an additional fee we can have him pay since he jumped aboard after all the arrangements were worked out? I've read lots of tips on the best places to go and how to schedule your night (ie get to la vela early to get your hand stamped, same with spinnaker), is there any truth to that? Where should we definitely make sure to visit while we are there? And lastly, Ft. Lauderdale last year was great, but the lovely ladies were somewhat lacking. I've read that you should always have a condom on hand while in PCB, but is this true to what actually goes on? My buddy has a girlfriend, but we've already sworn to keep anything that goes on down there with us to the grave. I guess I'm just looking for what to expect, so please share any information and knowledge you might have because I definitely want this to be a trip to remember. |

Chateau
Hey Bro,
In all honesty The Chateau Motel Is the last true Spring Break Hotel in Panama City Beach. Kegs are allowed on property, the pool is awesome, the view is amazing, they let you play your stereo, and you are next to the best bar on the beach (Harpoon Harrys). I may sound a little biased because I sell the card but it really is a good deal. You can choose to go to the clubs that are not on the card that night and party with 200 people. Or you can go to where the club is on the card and party with thousands of people. You are paying $40.00 and you won't pay again for the rest of the week. If your over 21 you can get your hand stamped and leave, or stay and drink for free for 2 hours. When you re-enter you won't wait in line. If you are under 21 there is no re-entry (except for Harpoon Harrys) Thats the rule with or without a card. Always pack a rubber it's Spring break 2 things you never want to go home to...... Thats being a Spring Break Daddy, or catching the Dose!! Always have rules for your room if you have a girl back...lol You don't want any vids on the internet posted by your buddies. Last but not least........ "Whatever happens in Panama. Stays in Panama!" If you have anymore questions just write back. I look forward to meeting you in a few weeks. Thanx, Andy andy@bestbreaktours.com |

Panamaniac Card 07
Hey,
I agree that the SandPiper is a fun place I actually have all my Canadian Spring Breakers staying there through the month of February. The Tiki bar is a blast. Would I hang there everynight though? No Why would anybody spend money to go away, and stay at there hotel all week? They wouldn't! The only other club closest to it is Sharkys. Thats even thats a bit of a hike. The staff at the piper are great, so is the security, and the bar staff is a ton of fun as well. For most people, Tiki bar for 5 or 6 nights just isn't going to fly though. Cheers, Andy |

Some Answers from the inside...
Alright, I just got back from Atlanta and am in 100% Spring break mode now...and here are a bunch of answers to some of the questions I have seen coming from the soon to be party animals of spring break:
ETownChris - The Sandpiper is going to be a fun place to be all of late Feb and March. The Tiki Bar has a bit of history of being home to some of the wildest spring break events on the beach. The Tiki Bar is in the Sandpiper so its stumbling distance day and night to your room...or whomever's room...Obviously you will want to leave the property to soak in the other party locations, but you have got a great home base! ANDY...what up WILD MAN...for those reading this Andy is the man to get to know the moment you get into town. He is going to sell you a Panamaniac card and its going to save you tons of cash, but also, Andy always seems to have some very friendly, very easy on the eyes friends hanging around him...can't wait to come along on one of the world famous pup crawls.... Meliss...the money thing is a personal preference thing I am putting a post together with some money saving ideas, look for it in a seperate thread under my ramblings...Spring Break in PC is HUGE FUN whether you drop a bunch of dimes or budget it out...so no worries you wil have FUN! Check out my inside info post with some great tips for all the breakers. |

anything special goin on for the week of march 17-24th?
my buddies and i are starting to get excited despite the trip being five weeks away. we will definitely be buying panamaniac cards. we also went ahead and ordered some la vela VIP cards, but they haven't charged my card yet so i'm wondering what happened there. i'm guessing that they charge you once you go pick them up, am i correct in assuming that? they were a little pricey, but we figured we'd probably save money buying them being right there on the beach for a full 7 days. last year in ft lauderdale $100 was easily spent in one night at the bars by each of us, so we didn't think much about buying the cards, but if you think they are a waste then please say so and maybe we'll avoid picking them up.

Panamaniac Card 07
I'm not sure why you haven't been charged yet? I will look into it for you. I personally never promote LaVela. I have in the past and MOST people just don't seem to happy with them, at the end of the week. So I just give people all the information regarding LaVela, I just won't sell there products anymore. Saying that .... It dosen't mean you won't like it there. But for the LaVela VIP Card its only worth it if your going to use it EVERYNIGHT! Your there for a week why pay for a VIP Card for just 1 club for 1 or 2 nights? It doesn't make sense.
The Panamaniac Card is for 5 Great Clubs and its cheaper. Your getting 4 hours everyday all you can drink, and it has Spinnaker on there. Anyone locally will tell you it is by far the hottest club in town. Furthermore it has the funnest, and best all round college bar in Harpoon Harrys. Usually by the end of the week Spring Breakers love Harpoons the most in town. I will let you be the judge of that on Spring Break! The Panamaniac Card has been around for 22 years for a reason. IT SELLS ITSELF ON VALUE, AND VARIETY! Hope this helps clarify some choices, Andy andy@bestbreaktours.com |
