Alright here are some tips that will definately help your Spring Break dollars go further...and at the same time create some amazing stories for the ages...

1. Buy a CARD. Now there are tons of package options, but really the best advice is a true Spinnaker VIP card followed closely by a Panamaniac Card. The Spinn VIP card will set you up for no lines, drink discounts at times, and the relative respect given to most locals...they are not that expensive and will pay for themselves in two or three trips to the club...and once you experince the crowds at Spinnaker you will end up there EVERY NIGHT, pretty crowd and amazing live bands!

2. The Panamaniac cards as mentioned above is a great option. I will leave the details to one of their reps(ANDY) but overall you are buying access to a circuit of parties all over the beach at various times on every day. One price and the cards gets you in most places free and at times even offers perks like free draft beer, etc. For slower weeks, its not an exageration when I say the big crowds will only be found at the Panamaniac Parties...they have a way of getting all the lovely ladies there, and we all know where they go the rest follow...

3. Harpoon Harrys - want a place that will remind you of your favorite college bars but on the sand...this place has it. No Club Pretense, no dressing to the nines, just fun college students drinking in cute skirts and t-shirts. The DJ makes you feel right at home with college bar classics and killer dance tracks. Flirting, flinging and having fun...

4. Cruise in Bars not in Cars....unless you like the snails pace crawl along our less than scenic roadways...use the shortcuts and backroads. There are multiple routes to each and every major party location. Front Beach is a parking lot on most nights, use Middle Beach or Back Beach (the names say it all) these are the quickest way from bar 1 to bar 2. No bumper to bumper, no fender benders, more time cocktails and cuties! ALSO, we all got AMPS and bog old woffers now, its no longer unique so leave the loud music to the clubs or you wil find yourself with a noise violation ticket...let's do the math - $75 = fine to to Bay County or 25 draft beers...and the fine to Bay Coutny is not going to help you hook up...

5. FREE STUFF - daytime...shake off the hangover and make your way to the beaches. Behind Spinnaker, laVela, and Harpoon Harrys they will be giving a TON of free stuff away. From poker sets to shirts to lotions, music, DVDs..well you get the point. Sure some of its JUNK but you have to take your kid brother something...oh yeah and most of these areas have a condom company handing out samples...enough said!

6. Early Bird gets in....Its Spring Break, people will be partying from 8PM on every night...no need to wait until midnight. In fact if you wait that late you will pay double cover and wait in lines for over an hour to get into some of the places...if anything go early get your hand stamped and head to dinner. Then clean up, look pretty, and head back, you may still have to wait a few mintues but the re-entry lines are always shorter.

7. Lastly for now....NO LIP TO THE STAFF...believe it or not they dont want trouble, they all would be very happy if everyone got along, and the last thing they really want to do is kick anyone out while on break. SO DON'T GIVE THEM A REASON TO. I can't count the number of times a simple "sorry" or "oh I didn't realize I could not stand there" would have saved some poor breaker from having to wait in line again and pay all over. Its their job to help you not hurt yourself, let them...pretty easy concept, be polite, be nice, dont be a jackass, and you will have no problems at most of the bars and clubs...

8. Oh yeah one last bit of advice...no one cares who you know or what family memeber went to college with the owners of LaVela or Spinnaker, they hear it non-stop...save your stories for your lit class, the bouncers will not buy it and you are just holding up the lines...act as if its the soup nazi from Seinfeld...have your ID(the real ones) and cash ready, hand em one, hand em the other, say thank you and proceed with the debauchery we call Spring Break!
