Club Hour and its nightlife team went to the Opera this past week. We dressed up and joined about 5000 others to celebrate the opening of Atlanta’s new Opera…BUT before you think Club Hour has gone completely soft, let’s take a look at some of our other exciting shoots from this year.

This spring Club Hour covered another incredible Spring Break here in the Panhandle. Rumors run rampant every year that “Spring break is dead” but from what our camera captured, I think you will agree that Spring Break is as wild and crazy as ever. Looking for something a bit more mellow? 2007 finds Club Hour launching into our 7th market with the addition of our South End Myrtle Beach station. If you have not been to the Murrell’s Inlet area, our first round of coverage will show you a perfect mix of live music fun with laid back coastal good times: Take a look at the local’s favorite the Hot Fish Club or hang with some Creek Ratz for a fun evening of music

Add in Caribbean fun down in the Florida Keys, and the always wild times on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and its already been a full year for Club Hour in the Southeast….but let’s get back to the Opera in Atlanta. No, there was no fat lady singing, but rather a club full of partiers singing their praise on Atlanta’s newest nightlife attraction. Opera, formerly eleven50 in midtown, has undergone a 2.5 million dollar overhaul and is now nothing short of spectacular. From the floor to ceiling red velvet drapes in the VIP suites, to the multiple tier bar levels overlooking the entire club... to the outdoor patio with private cabanas, water features and spectacular lighting, Opera has not only re-defined what a club should elicit within one’s emotions but sets the bar incredibly high for the numerous bars in remodels and construction in the downtown area. (can we have a video clip ready for this?)

Speaking of remodeling, Tripsmarter.com has revamped their video library to make it even easier and faster to view all the fun our Club Hour has covering the nightlife.
