PCB 2012! Where to Stay?!

Hey Everyone,

What's the best place to stay this year for PCB? Right now I've looked into staying at the Boardwalk condos, Summit, or Gulf Crest. Any opinions on which one would be the most fun? No one in our group is 25 either so I would like to go to a place where the security isn't too harsh also. Let me know what you guys think.

Honestly, all places are gonna be strict with security. Just gotta find good ways to get around it.

I stayed in GulfCrest last year and we had a blast! Never been to the other 2 though.

i stayed at sunbird in 09 and it was...ehhh...alright...id say if you got a crew with you, stay at the Boardwalk! i saw Daniel Lee's room at the boardwalk and was blown away by that place and it's super close to everything you want

My group recently got a good deal for the boardwalk hotel, 121 dollars a night per room through bookit.com. I have been reading reviews, and there isn't much nice to say about the place online. Has anyone stayed at the hotel there (not the condo). We are considering switching to the Days Inn (where we stayed last year) because the deal doesn't include balconies and the bad reviews. Thoughts?

I dont know about the Boardwalk except I heard the rooms arent that nice. The only thing about Days Inn is that its really far from everything. I stayed at Paradise Palms 4 years ago and it was a pain to get to the clubs.

The girls are concerned with bugs and mildew, which seems to be a common complaint online. Like I said we stayed at days inn last year and it did suck having to get cabs to go anywhere but harpoon Harry's. but if the boardwalk is as bad as online reviews say, then I think it's the better option as far as the girls are concerned.

yeah the Boardwalk "HOTEL" rooms blow ***, but the condo is extremely nice

Are there a lot of spring breakers at the condos? It seems with the age limit, that it would be less of a party atmosphere.

My first year here in 09 I was underage & stayed at paradise palms. That was a good place to stay at the time. Ever since then, I've been 21+ and stayed in condos. Some owners will rent to under 25, like the ones we've rented with... & the condos are definitely nicer!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions! I'm on the verge of either booking a condo at the boardwalk or gulf crest. The ones at gulf crest are alittle bit bigger and the layout is a tad nicer so I'm leaning towards that option but I'm still not sure :/

Yeah, I'm about to book as well. March 17th-24th. I'm leaning towards the boardwalk condos as well but am a little 'worried' that it won't be a party hotel.
