summit is notoriously difficult to get into without a wristy...lots of people have had to make alternative arrangements even if some of the group has them and 1 or 2 not

If we buy an extra wristband will we get any trouble? My trip hinges on this. I just dont want to go and have nowhere to stay

we are bringing a buddy along doing this as well. one of us who is already booked in a room is just going to say we "lost" one of our wristbands, and give our buddy our old one. just have someone who you're going with do it so they can prove that they are staying at the hotel. from what i've heard, once you have a wristband on they do nothing more than just check to see if it's the summit's wristband. good luck

I just got back from a week in PCB at the Summit and I actually ran into a guy on the beach who was selling wristbands (the same ones you get from legit summit owners) for only $50 each...No idea how he got them but they were legit.

But yeah, just tell them you got in the ocean and it must have just slipped off or you cut it on accident or something if you wanna buy a new one from them.

What color were the wristbands from the summit??? It seems like they have been orange the past three years that I've been there. Does anyone know if they change the color each week?

they were green last week and yes they do change every week
