Bay Point Cancels 2012 Invitational Billfish Tournament

The 2012 Bay Point Invitational Billfish Tournament has been cancelled.

No single reason for the cancellation was given...instead, the Bay Point Marina Director chalked it up to several determining factors including less interest from sponsors, rising fuel costs, and competing area tournaments.

Lots of good memories from this tourney and party over the years.

I think they cancelled once before in the past (right after St. Joe bought the marina?) and they revived it the next year. Maybe they'll revive it again when the time is right.
