Canine athletes and human handlers from Canada to Florida gather for a weekend of dog agility competition.
Rival teams race against the clock and each other through obstacle courses filled with hurdles, weave poles, teeter-totters, A-frames and tunnels on the only dog agility field in South Carolina sanctioned by Canine Performance Events, Inc.
With over 100 fast-paced races each day, dog agility is a great spectator sport and the public is welcome to watch at no charge.
A Way to Play Dog Agility Club hosts this springtime competition on Saturday March 17th and Sunday March 18th from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at A Dog's Way Inn, 761 Pendergrass Avenue (behind T-Bones), Murrells Inlet. There will be pet supply vendors and refreshments available. Call (843) 357-4545 for more information.
