    PCB, here we come!

My fiancee and I are heading down Saturday for 4 nights! Can't wait to get down there! Hopefully Isaac doesn't cause too much of a problem.

We came in yesterday and are here until September 1st weather permitting. Looks like this area is being spared the worst according to the local tv station 7. Appears to be inline to make landfall at New Orleans and with that 319 miles from here what we get should be less.

We'll be thinking about ALL of you, visiting or resident. Hope everyone has the good time they deserve without any meterological drama.

Yeah Steve, we had a great time. Even Tuesday we were able to sit on the beach for a few hours. We were getting a little sand blasted, of course, but it was nice to be able to sit out there in the sun with the waves crashing all around. I think the during pictures make it look overcast, but the dim color is from all of the moisture in the air. It was still blue skies above and I got a little burned without noticing due to the wind.

The water from Isaac came up beyond the ropes a few days where we are staying, until the rain washed it away. There's no sitting on the beach where we are, the waves are coming up too far. I've done all my shopping already though. Haven't walked the beach one morning which is not the norm for me. But I'm just enjoying relaxing.

What area of the beach are the Seagull Villas considered? There's Laguna Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Sunnyside, Bid-a-Wee. But all are in Panama City Beach, FL.

Glad you're enjoying your stay Beachnut. Not sure about the Seagull Villas question. There are several communities along the West end. I have to rely on the road signs on Front Beach.

I think I just answered that question. The web says Laguna Beach area. Despite no beach walks, no scooter riding, etc. I'm content. Glad we cannot ride the waverunners, I don't enjoy that. And the hubby would be pushing me to if it weren't for the surf. I bet they aren't going out anyway. There's one problem with my trip, it's coming to a end after tomorrow and we have to head back to Memphis.
