    New Orleans Post Katrina Photos

Here are some photos from Gene in New Orleans. I'll try to identify them, but I'm not sure about some. Maybe someone will jump in and help.

And feel free to post your own photos of Hurricane Katrina's aftermath and New Orleans' recovery.

This first set is of our New Orleans Television office. Photo 1 is in the French Quarter looking East down Exchange Alley at the front of the La. Supreme Court on Conti Street. The second photo is of the courtyard for the building our Exchange Alley office is in. Photos taken on or around 9/19/05.

    Louis Armstrong Airport?

This photo is of relief operation taking place either at Louis Armstrong, another airport or a military base. Not familiar with any of those so maybe someone can help out?

The lighthouse is the former Coast Guard Lighthouse next door to Joe's Crab Shack.
The lighthouse was a N.O. landmark for generations. It's located at Lake Ponchartrain and West End Blvd.

Thanks for the clarification Gene. Glad to see some life beginning to pop up in New Orleans, too.
