Hunt's Restaurant & Spanky's

We used to enjoy eating at a restaurant in Panama City...not at the beaches, but back in the city...called Hunt's Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar...anyone familiar with them and know why they are now closed? Same story with Spanky's Oyster Bar (formerly next to Pompano's)...one year they were just *poof*...GONE. Another favorite spot to eat.

Hunt's caught fire and relocated. They are now on Grace Avenue in downtown PC. Still good.

When is the last time that you went there? It's not there anymore...on Grace Ave. I checked the phone book and the # has been disconnected. The building is there, but empty.

I thought we saw it a coulpe months ago, debated on eating there and settled on somewhere else. I'll check this week sometime. That's news to me if they're closed.

That would be great if you could check...we are going back in September...if they are really there, I'd love to go!

I think they renamed it. I ate there a month and a half ago and I can't remember what the name of it is. I don't know if it is the same owners though. I had oysters which are hard to mess up, so I don't know if the food is the same besides the oysters.
