Indian Summer Seafood Festival, Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau along with Festival Event Group are proud to announce the 26th annual Indian Summer Festival to be held the second weekend in October beginning Friday, October 13, through Sunday, October 15. The Indian Summer Festival, already one of the largest and most attended festivals in the Southeast United States will prove to be a fun filled experience for all to remember as we continue to raise the bar of quality and presentation of our exciting festival here at the “World’s Most Beautiful Beaches”.

This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever with exciting children’s activities, a larger midway and a broader variety of musical acts. In 2006 we will provide more continuous entertainment on three new stages, the expansive St Joe Concert Stage, the Bud Light stage and CMT’s performance stage. We are proud to announce that this year's headliners will be American Idol's Bo Bice, country star Jeff Bates and legendary band “Hootie and the Blowfish”, also performing, Nashville's electrifying “Mustang Sally”, Panama City's show group “Clutch”, 2005 Southern Star talent winner Tanya Madison, an incredible band from Las Vegas “ISIS” and other various popular entertainers. Don’t miss future stars as they compete for a thousand dollars cash plus a recording session in the Panhandle Star talent search contest produced by WPAP and Knology. You will want to bring the kids to the 2006 Indian Summer Festival to enjoy the many wonderful children’s events such as midway rides, animal shows, rock wall, bungee jump, pony rides, jugglers, stilt walkers, face painting, and karaoke on the CMT performance stage. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture your child’s surprise and excitement upon the arrival of popular Nickelodeon characters.

The 2006 Indian Summer Festival will feature local seafood restaurants serving as vendors in “A Taste of Panama City Beach”. A larger than ever food court will include all of your favorite foods, from mouth watering bar-b-cue and authentic Chinese cuisine to funnel cakes and soft serve ice cream plus much more. Also on hand will be a unique blend of merchandise and arts and craft vendors, plus a new Fine Arts exhibition area. We are proud to announce that renowned artist Paul Brent will provide the beautiful artwork for the 2006 festival tee shirt.

Make your plans now to attend what will be one of the highlights of the fall season. So stay for a day or the weekend at one of Panama City Beach's beautiful resorts and enjoy “The Hottest Ticket in Town”.
