SB 07 commute

Hey my friends and I are staying off of Key West on another key so we can actually afford to have some fun while were down there. Unfortunitly we are too far away from the action to walk. I was hoping that someone has some advice on KWs travel such as taxis, buses, or parking on the island. I imagine driving to a bar crawl will create parking difficulities in addition to the unavoidible designated driver argument. Thank you for the help.

Which island are you staying on? There is a city bus service but it mainly services Key West and has a few stops on the next island, Stock Island.

Were staying on sugarloaf key which is only 14 miles outside of key west. I am hopeing the bus makes it out that far.

If you scroll down on that link, you will find the lower keys shuttle but it looks like you would have to pick the bus up around 9:30 to get back up to where you are staying. Plus it looks like it drops you off a few miles from where you are staying. It also picks up a few miles from down town so you would have to take a taxi to the pick up site in Key West.
