I feel bad for anyone who was driving down from the midwest last night headed to pcb for springbreak and hit the snow storm in kentucky and ohio.....I was talking to a girl on the phone from my hometown who was on the road last night and instead of it taking the usual 15 hrs to get there it took them 22hrs....not fun hopefully no one got into any accidents

tell me about it...it was a disaster driving home from work and thats only 10 minutes from my house!

Traffic has been pretty steady with people coming down and heading back up north. Saw a lot of Indiana and Illinois people cruising down on highway 231 when I was leaving Dothan for my hour drive to PCB.

Also, me and the girlfriend went and ate at Margaritaville for lunch and the food was amazing and its not over-priced. However, your margaritas are served in small, mini solo cups. I'd much rather go to Chili's and get 2 for 1 and still get more out of my money.

SB08!

Man, this weekend was great! Weather cleared up.. it was a little cool... but Sunday was defnitiely warm enough to enjoy the beach!

Which is why the beach was PACKED Sunday. Thousands of breakers behind the Superclubs and Boardwalk. It was also a perfect day for mtvU to officially "open the doors" to their Spring Break Village!

We also hear that last night was packed at pretty much every club.

Also wanted to post and say it's been great meeting our Forum members!

Friday we met Javier (FAMU_seis61ace) and his friend David. I bet y'all had some fun this weekend! But, we totally forgot to take a pic w/ you guys.. maybe we'll see you out in the clubs or on the beach this week and get a pic or two.

Also, we just met Mike_qc, Chris_qc and their friend JP (John Paul)... all from Quebec, Canada. Welcome to PCB and hope you guys have a blast!

Mike reminded us that you guys in the forums planned a party on the 12th. You'll be competing with an MTV concert and a Spinnaker concert, but we'll stop by with the cameras in case a few ppl show up. Hope to meet some more of you guys real soon!

Shawn where have you guys been? Just wondering how FAMU and others have spotted you guys. Can't wait to meet everyone on St. Patty's day.

Also, is it just me or does there seem like there are a lot more females down this year than in the recent past?

FAMU and Mike stopped by to pick up their prizes. We're also looking fwd to meeting you guys on the 17th.. and maybe a few of you on the 12th?

And, yes... more girls than usual! We were on the beach this afternoon and it was PACKED! Club La Vela had a great crowd for their contests. There were a ton of people behind the clubs and the Summit. We'll have some photos and videos up soon.

We also walked down to The Boardwalk and although there were a bunch pf ppl, we were very UNimpressed with the mtvU village. It consisted of a couple tents, a small stage and a bigger stage. The stages were still under construction, but it doesn't even come close to what mtvU did behind the Summit a couple years ago.

Also, it looks like we'll be webcasting LIVE from Club La Vela tomorrow around 3pm CST. Tune in to the Spring Break Channel and get a taste of Spring Break 08! We'll be broadcasting CLV's poolside contests, so check it out if you get a chance!

Lets hope the more girls then usual trend continues into next week. I had a friend tell me today that he read the girl to guy ratio in PCB is around 12:1 for SB. I hope he's wrong..lol.

SB08!

Well, our 2nd live broadcast in a row was cancelled due to rain. The rain sucks.

We're going to try again tomorrow... it's supposed to be sunny and 71 degrees (I've heard that one before!) We'll announce a time as soon as we know what it is

Ying Yang tonight... there were a bunch pf pppl standing in line at CLV today to buy tickets to this show.... hopefully the rain let's up long enough for the concert.

Flo Rida tomorrow at mtvU village (Boardwalk) and Kenny Chesney tomorrow at 4pm at Spinnaker.
