New Orleans Spring Fiesta And Historic Home Tours
April 1-6, 2008
A total of 20 homes not usually open to the public will be part of this year's tours. Experience the grandeur of the past as you walk through these Garden District, French Quarter, and Uptown homes.
The highlight of the Spring Festival is a daylong series of events designed to entertain, educate, and allow all to revel in the cultural heritage that is uniquely New Orleans. The festival includes a parade of horse-drawn carriages through the French Quarter and the presentation of the Spring Fiesta Queen and her court at Jackson Square. Tours of private homes, gardens and courtyards complete the remainder of the actvities.

Old Algiers RiverFest
April 5-6, 2008
Old Algiers RiverFest will expand from one day to two days and will add community outreach programs in 2008. Scheduled for April 5-6, the event will be preceded by an extensive classroom program designed both to enhance the learning opportunities in New Orleans schools and to promote the Old Algiers area’s role in the development of jazz.

New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival
April 24-27, 2008
Organizers have announced a partial 2008 lineup For New Orleans' premier music event - The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, to be held April 25-27 and May 1-4. Thousands of fans will fill the city to watch Tim McGraw, the Neville Brothers, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and hundreds more perform during the 7-day festival.
