I see that the dates have been agreed upon, and it will be on HALLOWEEN weekend this year! Looks like Kiss will headline on Halloween, but that's about all I've heard. Anyone else heard anything, or planning on going?

Not too bad. I've read a bunch of stuff about them adding more headliners this year...here's a quick round-up of the rumors:
Beastie Boys:
At one point, this was posted on the Voodoo website. It shows the Beastie Boys having been slotted in for Friday Night at one point.
Metallica:
On their website they announced that they were postponing a concert in Ottawa, Canada, originally scheduled for October 29, to November 3. The reason? According to the e-mail, "the date change is due to a scheduling conflict with a very cool event coming up around that time. We wanted to let you know about the new date in Ottawa [as soon as possible], but we've been sworn to secrecy on all other fronts . . . more details in mid-to-late July."
Sounds like Voodoo to me!
Kings of Leon:
The band announced that they were playing Voodoo Fest awhile back on their MySpace. I believe the announcement is still up. They're also following Voodoo's official Twitter page and are in their MySpace Friends list.
Street Sweeper Social Club
Tom Morello's new band was announced the day after the "full" lineup was announced...then removed within a few hours. So, who knows what's happening there!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah's
Voodoo's website maintains a section for each announced band in the lineup...the YYY's have a page, but it's not currently linked anywhere. Maybe an announcement's coming in the future?
Ahhh... the rumors! Where did you find this stuff??!
I'd vote for adding any of those bands to the lineup!
A lot of the stuff came from following the comments here.
I think it's pretty much a sure thing that KoL is playing (date still listed on their MySpace)...as for the rest, the Metallica one seems the most credible. What other event taking place over Halloween would they be willing to cancel shows for?
Last year they added NERD, Mars Volta and Lil Wayne (and close to 40 other bands) in SEPTEMBER. All of those are pretty big acts...so it's been known to happen!
Voodoo Fest is coming up fast! Looks like we've got a good crew going this year. Can't wait!!!!!!!
The day-by-day lineup has just been announced! The headliners and full schedule are below...also, I wouldn't be surprised if they add a handful of bands once the next pricing tier and single-day tickets become available.
Headliners by day:
Friday, October 30
Eminem & Ween
Saturday, October 31
Kiss & Jane's Addiction
Sunday, November 1
Lenny Kravitz & Widespread Panic
Check out the full lineup below:

I'm hearing rumors of Alice in Chains playing at Voodoo... how AWESOME would that be?
Also hearing possibly The Cult???
