Anyone ever stayed at the Astor?

We just booked 2 rooms for Voodoo Fest. Can't beat the location on the corner of Bourbon and Canal. And it looks very nice on their website. Got good reviews, too.

Anybody have a first-hand review?

I know we'll enjoy eating downstairs at the Bourbon House. Redfish on the halfshell, here we come!

BTW - I highly recommend this hotel. Excellent service. Outstanding rooms. Unbeatable location. The only downside is that parking is located off site - you have to shuttle or make other arrangements. Other than that small complaint (which is common for N.O. hotels) I absolutely LOVED the Astor Crowne!
