A Stone Mountain Christmas
November 10 - December 31, 2012
Where: Stone Mountain Park

Visitors will think they have been transported back to Norman Rockwell's time as they witness this recreated plantation Christmas...the magic of a small town Christmas really comes alive at Stone Mountain Park as the 1870’s town of Crossroads® is decked with over a million Christmas lights and holiday decorations including an amazing 50' Christmas tree, life-size snowmen, giant wreaths and the spectacular Musical Tree of Lights.

Families will enjoy the 4D Christmas Movie, "The Polar Express" where guests take an imaginary journey through the film. The movie is in 3D and incorporates some exciting 4D special effects that viewers experience in the theater.

Kids will delight at the activities in our All-New Kids' Land, where they are greeted by Santa's elves and enjoy lots of games, toys and activities. And Christmas would not be complete without a visit to Santa Claus. Families can visit Santa at the railroad depot and then hop aboard the open-air Train for a journey around the mountain with a live holiday show. The fun continues at The Great Barn where kids can meet the Coca-Cola Polar Bear and enjoy rope nets, interactive games, super slides, trampoline floors and more!

Everyone will enjoy the New live Christmas shows and entertainment including: Crossroads Christmas Jubilee, Tinker's Toyland Surprise, A Crossroads Christmas Carol, The Snow Angel and special performances by local choirs. Plus, aspiring singers get a chance to sing their holiday favorites at Caroloake. Guests can also find the perfect gifts at the many unique shops and the wide variety of restaurants and concessions serve up the best home cooked southern fare and holiday treats. Families can gather 'round the Jingle Bell Bonfire to roast hot dogs, marshmallows or make s'mores.

Santa Claus, elves, music choirs, their legendary Laser show, and roughly 2 million sparkling lights - everything to create a wonderful winter wonderland! Keep in mind, though, that the park is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...
