Atlanta, GA -
Steps away from all the excitement of Atlanta’s premier venues, the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel offers up a generous dose of gracious southern hospitality with an international flare. One of the newest additions to the ever-expanding Buckhead skyline, the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel is an exceptional property by which all Atlanta hotels are measured. This flagship hotel of the IHG group offers all the first class amenities of a luxury resort in the middle of a thriving Peachtree Road address.

When we favor the glamour of exploring Atlanta’s plethora of shopping, cultural and dining options, while wanting the comfort of the same luxuries right where we sleep, Intercontinental Buckhead is our favorite pick. From the hotel we can stroll to the South's premier shopping area -- Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, featuring Neiman Marcus, Lord and Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Rich's, and over 250 other fine stores! When we are shopped out we have easy access to popular attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, the High Museum of Art, the New World of Coca-Cola and the CNN Studio Tour.
Eventually we make our way back to the hotel for a choice menu of dining options. If you like French Cuisine, the InterContinental has perfected Au Pied de Cochon, it’s 24 hour European Brasserie which originally opened in Paris in 1946. We easily regarded as one of best dining destinations in the City. The pièce de résistance that completes your experience at the hotel is tasting (over 60!) varieties of cognac at the XO Bar. There’s a snifter for every budget small or large, with one option at $400 a pour.
And one more thing…when you are ready to splurge, ask your bartender to describe Le Reve de Anges. The ‘drink of angels’ is a religious experience of sorts to be enjoyed at the bar, on the Terrace, in your luxuriously appointed room...or in that divine deep soaking tub.
Salute!
