JapanFest

JapanFest Weekend will be held on September 18-19, 2010, from 10 am to 6 pm (Saturday) and 10am to 5pm (Sunday) at the Convention Center at Gwinnett Center (located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097).

JapanFest, now in its 24th year, is the largest Japanese festival east of Houston and south of Washington, DC, and typically draws crowds exceeding 18,500. Organized by The Japan-America Society of Georgia, The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, and the Consulate General of Japan, JapanFest is designed to promote understanding between Japanese and Americans in the Southeast.

Yellow Daisy Days

Celebrating it's 42nd Anniversary the Yellow Daisy Festival has been voted the Nation's #1 Arts & Crafts Show by Sunshine Artist Magazine! Montreux Jazz Festival in Atlanta

Famous jazz acts perform at this free outdoor festival sponsored by the City of Atlanta. The event kicks off Each Labor Day weekend with local groups performing at afternoon concerts at either Woodruff Park or Centennial Park, both in downtown Atlanta.

Dragon*Con

Once a year Atlanta is invaded by aliens - and monsters, and fairies, and goblins... yep, it's time for Dragon*Con again!

The United States' largest science fiction, fantasy, and cult media convention descends on Atlanta every year with hordes of costumed fans - 20,000 plus - crowding Downtown with the oddest collection of individuals even this jaded city has seen!

Dragon*Con is in it's second decade of bringing together fans of science fiction, horror and related genres to attend seminars, art shows, theater groups, and tons of gaming events.
