I would advise anyone that is coming in from out of town to stay at Quality Inn & Suites on Hwy 98. They are just as close as any other hotel, a much easier drive to downtown, and only 5 minutes from the beach.
I was amazed at how new and clean this place is. They even had a hot breakfast! The price was also (by far) the best deal in Panama City.
It is so refreshing to know that I finally found a hotel that I can count on exceeding my expectations.
