The 2nd Annual Run for the Panhandle to benefit the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011.

Where: The Landing in Ft. Walton Beach

The course start will be at the Landing in Ft Walton Beach and is a 3.1 mile flat course (7am start) on Brooks St with a 1 mile kid's run course (8am start). An awards ceremony will be held afterward at the Emerald Coast Convention Center.

Entry fees as follows: Sign up before July 20th at Fridays in Destin and registration is $20 dollars; after July 20th it will be $25 dollars. Kids fun run is $10 dollars. Students, military and track club members $17 before July 20 and $23 after the 20th.

Incentives: Awards will be given for Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female for each age group (breakdown is on website). Registration forms available at runforthepanhandle.com.
