Snowbird Appreciation Sock Hop

The Okaloosa County Tourist Development Council hosts the 2nd Annual Snowbird Appreciation Sock Hop on Sunday, February 26th from 6-11pm at the Emerald Coast Convention Center.
This blast from the past will include live music from The Tip Tops, dancing, timely trivia, soda shops, real classic cars and more! Wii Bowling is back and better than ever, so grab your get best team together for some dynamite competition! We invite you to “Rock Around the Clock” dressed in your best 50’s attire and participate in the costume and dance contests! Bring out your greatest Marilyn or Elvis impersonations and join in on the costume contest and dance competition for your chance to win a $200 VISA gift card!
The Tip Tops are a high energy dance and show band based out of Mobile, AL, complete with a brass band, “The Toppettes” and costume changes make for an entertainment-packed evening of fun! Their recent engagements include Alabama Governor Bob Riley’s inauguration ball and country singer and songwriter Reba McEntire’s Christmas party. Come shake, rattle, and roll with the great tunes of Elvis, Marvin Gaye, Little Richard, and The Supremes just to name a few!
Tickets are on sell at the Emerald Coast Convention Center, and are $8 in advance or $12 at the door. This price includes light refreshments, an entry to win door prizes, and a bag full of goodies and coupons!
