Unbeknownst to many, Destin, Fla. may very well be the wine capital of Florida's Gulf Coast. One of the leading wine events that has set the area apart as a wine country all its own, is the annual Sandestin Wine Festival at Baytowne Wharf.
Each year, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort transforms itself into the South of France with a four-day event providing participants an entertaining and educational atmosphere to enjoy fine wine. The event will be held in the heart and soul of the resort, The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Don't miss the opportunity to taste your share of the excitement.
Each year around the Veterans’ Day holiday, Trinity Presbyterian Church holds its annual family advance. This year from November 8-11, they will enjoy their 17th annual advance. Once again they will be at the beautiful Sandestin Resort in South Walton County.
Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) will host its fifth annual Hurricane Party on Friday, November 13, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. The bay-front party will be held at "Bentley's on the Bay," and feature the rootsy, funky, jazzy, Latin dance music of Jose Conde.
CVHN is a local faith-based non-profit organization that provides free medical, dental and mental health care for uninsured and underinsured children in Okaloosa and Walton counties.
