oin us for the 8th annual World Sailfish Championship April 13th -17th, for one of South Florida's most prestigious sailfish tournaments. Compete along with other elite anglers for $125,000 in cash -- including a $100,000 guaranteed first-place cash prize, a $15,000 second–place cash prize and a $10,000 third-place cash prize.

Three days of hard-fought fishing will be complemented by three evenings of fabulous food, drinks, fun and entertainment. Scheduled highlights include a free concert overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in Key West, gourmet meals and VIP parties.
The sailfish spectacular begins Tuesday, April 13th, with a final registration from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Kohler Captains Meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., with the Mayan Islands kick-off party at 6:45 p.m.
Opening ceremonies follow, highlighted by a Military flyover scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Lines are in the water from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 14th and 15th, and from 8:00 a.m. to2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17th.
Wednesday, April 14th, after the first day of fishing, anglers will enjoy a sumptuous 7:00 p.m. Sunset Key Seafood Extravaganza.
Other social events scheduled during the World Sailfish Championship include a series of private parties for participating anglers on Friday, April 16th, 2010, designated the non-fishing "lay day."
The tournament will culminate with the Florida Viking Yachts Dealers Awards Banquet hosted by Galati Yacht Sales and HMY Yacht Sales , set for 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17th.
VIP registration will be capped at 110 teams. The cost to enter is $7,500 per VIP boat entry which allows entry for up to five anglers and one captain in the tournament, as well as six VIP social passes to all social events, admission to private parties and full access to a VIP hospitality area with a nightly open bar.
