The Pawley's Island Festival of Music & Art is held at Brookgreen Gardens, just south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The festival has evolved from a one show musical performance in 1991 to an annual event today featuring well-known musicians from across the country.

The 2009 Pawley's Island Festival of Music & Art lineup promises to be one of their best ever.
The festival begins on September 18 and runs through September 27.
Come out Friday night to sample wines from over 60 wineries and enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres. Wines will be available for purchase at prices below retail, and offered only during this special event. Live entertainment and the highlight is sure to be the silent auction!
Enjoy the Long Bay Chamber Orchestra at the tabled (picnic) event that is always one of the highlights for the Festival. Under the musical direction on Dr. Charles Jones Evans, the Long Bay Chamber Orchestra will entertain and delight audiences of all ages.
Saturday's festivies offer a variety of world renowned Brass and Jazz Musisicans. These shows are great for all age groups, so be sure to bring the whole family!
On Sunday bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy a wonderful, relaxing afternoon of “Jazz Under the Oaks,” overlooking the marsh at Litchfield Plantation. The Carriage House will provide wine and beer along with snacks for purchase, or you may bring your own.
