Join the Society of Stranders at the annual Mid-Winter Shag Classic on the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, where the Shag originated decades ago.
The society was formed back in 1980 and is widely recognized for its yearly adult shagging parties that include the Mid-Winter Classic among others. This event started as a small reunion of friends and is now attended by 12,000+ members, they must be doing something right!
The Mid-Winter Classic includes special activities such as dancing workshops, live entertainment, contests and exhibitions along with free food in participating lounges at various times during the week. There are trams provided by SOS that run up and down the beach during peak hours to offer Stranders free rides to and from the lounges. This is something you just have to experience for yourself to understand!
