The Society of Stranders calls its thousands of active members to return to North Myrtle Beach in March for a big party. Days and nights are filled with activities, shagging and sightseeing. Eight clubs around the Ocean Drive section pitch in to make sure that every evening resounds with nonstop beach music.
It will be a beautiful day at a spectacular setting - La Belle Amie Vineyard. Add some tasty food, fantastic music, beautiful artworks, lovely garden plants, some pretty good wine (ours), and we'll have the makings of a memorable Saturday afternoon!

Free event featuring a military guest speaker, an All-service Color Guard, a 21 - gun salute by a Marine Corps Honor Guard, military band, Taps, and a memorial wreath cast onto the waters.

The Sun Fun Festival serves as a summertime kickoff for South Carolina's Grand Strand and a beginning of the Sun Fun Summer of Celebration which runs during the summer from June through September. The Sun Fun Festival includes four days of live entertainment, air shows, professional sand sculpture contest, parade, pageants, sporting events, kids fair, and much, much more.
This year's Sun Fun Festival will feature hot air balloon and boat rides, celebrity meet-and-greets, food and arts/crafts vendors, a parade of favorite kids' characters, to name a few activities.
Local restaurants from the Grand Strand come out to bring samples for you to try! From finger foods to fancy, there will be a little something for every taste. This family fun event will include not only restaurants and samplings, but plenty of events for the kids and all ages! The event will be held on March 21, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
