Louisiana Seafood Festival
New Orleans, LA -
Everybody knows New Orleans is famous for its delicious fresh seafood and unique Cajun dishes, but if you’d like a taste of the very best New Orleans has to offer then make sure you attend the Louisiana Seafood festival happening Saturday June, 11th and Sunday June 12th.

The Seafood festival is just one of three festivals that comprise the Vieux To Do, an annual event held in the historic French Quarter, that celebrates New Orleans culture, music and of course food! Held in the Old U.S. Mint at the Louisiana State Museum the Seafood Festival features the city’s top chefs preparing demonstrations of their signature dishes featuring fresh from the Gulf Louisiana seafood.
There will also be great gifts and souvenirs for sell, including the Our Home Louisiana Seafood Cookbook, an interesting collection of recipes from local celebrity chefs and personalities. 100% of proceeds from the cookbook benefit Friends of the Fishermen and the Louisiana Seafood Festival Foundation.
Another feature of the Vieux To Do is the Cajun Zydeco Music Festival, which will be held on two stage venues with various bands playing throughout the weekend.
This weekend is sure to be packed with good food and good music and good fun for the whole family!
Festivities begin at 11 am and end at 5pm, both Saturday and Sunday.
