The Best Oysters Money Can Buy

In my Top 5 shows, I'm never only showing you the food. I'm always also talking about Place. The best dining experiences are travel experiences. These are the meals you couldn't have experienced anywhere else, whether because of the view, the surroundings, the people involved, or the ingredients. Sometimes, it's even because of all of the above––-and that's how it was filming my recent Top 5 Best Oyster Bars from Panama City to Carrabelle.

The Forgotten Coast

Even living as close as I do, I don’t get to Apalachicola nearly often enough. It’s in the area known as the Forgotten Coast, but that’s no excuse! I remember filming with Myron Hines, Senior Executive Vice President, and his 1st HD camera like it was yesterday. Little did I know, this would propel our station to being one of the first to show viewers all the beautiful programming of the Emerald Coast we'd accumulated over the past 5 years in HD.

What About Frank Brown Park?

Everybody knows that Panama City is famous for the world's most beautiful beaches... and it's true, our beaches are among the most beautiful in the world, but there's more to Panama City Beach... than the beach, and it's called, "Frank Brown Park!" The name is rather unassuming but the two hundred plus acres of Frank Brown Park are every bit as beautiful... and FUN as any beach on the Emerald Coast... just different!
