Fireworks, music and special events are also planned at Pier Park. Family fun includes free concerts, contests and fireworks! Mayor Oberst will kick off the festivities, followed by an F-15 flyover.
Adults will be able to show their prowess with hot dog eating, wing eating and watermelon seed spitting contests. Nine bands will be spread throughout the property, with country music star Mark Chesnutt headlining at the Pier Park Amphitheatre. Admission is free and open to the public. Festivities are from noon to 9 pm.

Boardwalk Beach Resort is big on summer holidays so they're getting the 4th of July started early with fireworks, family and fun! Celebrate at the Boardwalk Beach Resort on the both the 3rd and the 4th of July! There will be plenty of food and game vendors, kid's activities, and beach entertainment to go around. So grab a funnel cake and relax while the kids stay entertained bouncing to their heart's content in the beach inflatables.

This year's July 4th event is called "The Centennial Big Splash" and will feature "LIVE" entertainment all day concluding with a special $50,000 fireworks display launched from not one, but TWO barges on Saturday, July 4th. Events will take place from 10am-10pm at the Panama City Marina.

Lynn Haven, FL
Lynn Haven will hold its annual parade at 9AM on Ohio Avenue. The fireworks display will begin after sunset at Kinsaul Park.
Mexico Beach, FL
Mexico Beach has a whole day of activities to celebrate the Fourth of July. In the morning particpate in their 5k run/walk and their annual Children's Fishing Tournament.
Stick around for dusk and enjoy their fabulous fireworks - "Best Blast on the Beach" at Frank Pate Park. Festivities will include food, games, small rides and more! For more information call Gulf County Chamber of Commerce at 227-1223
