Panama City Beach, FL

Fireworks, music and special events are planned at Pier Park. Family fun includes free concerts, contests and fireworks!

Several bands will be spread throughout the property.. Admission is free and open to the public. Festivities are from 4 pm to 9 pm.

The Panama City POPS honor troops and veterans 7:30 p.m. at Aaron Bessant Park with a live concert! Followed by Fireworks at 9:00 pm.

Boardwalk Beach Resort is big on summer holidays so they're getting the 4th of July started early with fireworks, family and fun! Celebrate at the Boardwalk Beach Resort on the both the 3rd and the 4th of July! There will be plenty of food and game vendors, kid's activities, and beach entertainment to go around. So grab a funnel cake and relax while the kids stay entertained bouncing to their heart's content in the beach inflatables.

The excitement really heats up Saturday night at dusk when they light up the summer sky with a fireworks show sure to impress guests of all ages. Afterwards, Boardwalk Beach Resort invites you to stick around for a guest favorite, the Sunset Cinema beach movie.

All activities are open to the public:

Beach Bash - festival foods, fireworks, sandcastle competitions, Sunset Cinema Beach Movie plus games & attractions Saturday, July 2nd: 12pm - 11pm

All day Beach Bash- Festival Foods, Games & Attractions, Beach Inflatables, and Kid's Activities Sunday, July 3rd: 11am - 6pm

A festival celebrating America's Independence. This year’s July 4th event is called “Salute to Freedom” and will feature “LIVE” entertainment all day concluding with the $25,000 Fireworks display on Monday, July 4th. The event will be simulcast on local radio stations. This event attracts up to 50,000 spectators to the Panama City Marina each year

Lynn Haven will be hosting its “Lynn Haven Centennial” celebration on July 4th, 2011. The annual parade will be held on July 4th at 9am.

Mexico Beach, FL

Best Blast on the Beach will begin with the annual Sandy Shoe 5K Race/Walk at Under the Palms Park off 7th Street in Mexico Beach. From Children to Adults, this race will jump start the day, and awards are given out. Registration is $10 per person and includes a t-Shirt. You will receive your t-shirt and race number at the park on the day of the race.

Next it's onto our annual Kid's Fishing Tournament. With NO entry fee, children of all ages line up along the sea wall at Canal Park and try to reel in the big ones! Prizes, food and drinks are given out to all participating children and their family members!

Finally, it's time to kick back and enjoy the "Best Blast on the Beach" Firework Show! Starting at dark, our grand firework show will be shot from the City Pier and can be viewed anywhere along our beautiful beach. So, grab the lawn chairs, blankets and coolers and hit the beach to enjoy this great show and say "Happy Birthday America".

Due to safety, the City Pier will close on July 3rd and remain closed until after the Firework Show on July 4th. End of Article
