Blast on the Bay Songwriter's Festival
October 19-21, 2012

Festival performances will consist of over 20 musicians who collectively have written hundreds of hit songs from Faith Hill and Ann Murray to John Waite and Brad Paisley. Songwriters attending the three day event will include crowd favorites such as Lisa Shaffer, Steve Leslie, Walt Aldridge, and Charlie and Dana Hunt Black, just to name a few. “We can’t wait to play “The Blast” in October, and are planning on inviting some new friends down this year as well,” said Charlie Black in a recent interview. All of the artists really enjoyed playing at The Thirsty Goat, Mango Marley’s, Toucan’s, The Haughty Heron, Provisions, The St. Joe Bar, and of course the Indian Pass Raw Bar, and many are already looking forward to October.

This annual event has continued to deliver on the promise of an incredible time for anyone who appreciates great music. If you spend one weekend a year in the area, make it October 19-21st, 2012 at the 4th annual Blast on the Bay Songwriters’ Festival.

All shows are FREE of charge, or request a minimal donation, and everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Educational Foundation of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts.
