Panama City, FL -
The Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) will host its annual "Home for the Holidays" event in historic Downtown Panama City throughout the coming holiday season. Beginning Friday, November 27th and continuing each Friday evening through December 18th, Downtown store hours will be extended to 8:00 pm, and Downtown will transform into a holiday wonderland filled with excitement. Families can enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides with commentary from members of the Historical Society of Bay County, and listen to seasonal carols from community choirs and choral groups strolling about Harrison Avenue. See exciting window displays, and step back in time as you enter many of the unique specialty shops where merchants will be dressed in period style attire from Downtown’s original heydays.
