Pier Park: Celebrate the arrival of 2012 in true Panama City Beach style during Pier Park Beach Ball Drop 2011. The festivities begin on New Year’s Eve at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a Family Celebration complete with balloon artists, stilt walkers and a family ball drop, consisting of more than 7,000 inflatable beach balls released onto Pier Park Drive on the boardwalk.
