The Shaddai Shriners and Roadrunners are sponsoring the 2nd annual Under the Oaks Bluegrass festival at Under the Oaks Park on beautiful St Andrews Bay in Parker, Florida. The dates are May 8, 9 and 10, 2009. This year's event will feature many popular bands from around the region. This event is made possible with the cooperation of the Shaddai Shriners, Bay County and the City of Parker. Come enjoy the music, food, and scenery! WPAP's Dr Shane Collins and WMBB-TV 13's Wayne Gentry will be Master of Ceremonies. WJHG's Neysa Wilkins will sing and MC on Sunday.
Tickets for this event are $10 per day or $25 for all three days. Children's tickets are $5 per day, or $10 for all three days, ages 10 to 17. Children under 10 are free. There will be a wide variety of vendors on hand to serve food and refreshments. Parking is Free!
Great bluegrass music will be performed by some of the best bands from across the southern region of the United States. These bands will be performing on a newly built concrete stage at Under the Oaks Park. On Friday, May 8th, the music time is 5pm till 10pm. Saturday, May 9th, is 10am till 10pm. Sunday, May 10th, is Bluegrass Gospel Music from 11am and ending at 5pm. Come on out to Under the Oaks Park with the Shaddai Shriners and Road Runners to relax under the oak trees and enjoy some of the best Bluegrass Music you have ever heard!
